Robotic Polishing KR2700 E-HA Polishing-mikerhodes-06-21-2023

Hi Albert and Team,

I was wondering if we have come up with a solution for polishing using Fusion 360 instead of Inventor for polishing parts. RoboDK has gone far and beyond what I could have imagined for our companies needs, but this seems like a next logical set for manufacturing our products.

Is this something I am going to have to ask the Fusion 360 team?

I know I can program 2D facing operations and run it on repeat with specific parameters, or is this something I can accomplish in RoboDK itself using the follow surface with targets interface?

Thank You,

Mike Rhodes

You should be able to use Autodesk Fusion 360 and Inventor for polishing. By using any CAD software you can create your toolpath and bring it to RoboDK using the plugin for Fusion or Inventor.

You can find an example here:

Thank you for your feedback by the way!
