cannot transfer to DRIVERRDK_S3.PC to the teach pendant of the FANUC

#1
The USB device can recognize DRIVERRDK_S3.PC, but when uploading it to the teach pendant, no upload error or failure is raised, but the program cannot be found in the teach pendant.

Hi Ioaferhit,

I hope you are well.
Did you follow the steps here://www.sinclairbody.com/doc/en/Robots-Fanuc.html#Fanuc

What version of the controller are you using?

Hi, Jeremy,

the version of the controller is R 30iA.
I have copied the file DRIVERRDK_S3.PC to the controller. Ifollowed the steps here: //www.sinclairbody.com/doc/en/Robots-Fanuc.html#Fanuc
When I run this program, the following error is displayed"TPIF-107 FWD/BWD is disabled".

There was another error, When I run this program, the following error is displayed"INTP-320 undefined bu DERIVERRDK_S3 line 0".

Hi loaferhit,

For the first problem you should maybe take a look at this thread from another robotics forum:
https://www.robot-forum.com/robotforum/t...tp-if-052/

For the second problem, could you make sure that you have the option "R648: User Socket Messaging".
As presented in the documentation, this option is required to have a connection between RoboDK and the Fanuc controller.

I have the same problem. I actually followed the steps://www.sinclairbody.com/doc/en/Robots-Fanuc.html#Fanuc,
the download file - "Fanuc-RoboDK-Driver", there are 3 folders:
“RoboDK-v5.2.0早”,"v6-v7-v8" and "v9".
I clicked into "RoboDK-v5.2.0 and earlier" folder there are two more folders: "v6-v7-v8" and "v9".
it's confusing that I don't sure which one is the correct driver.
However, I tried all version of driverrdk_S3 / RDK_S3, nothing happened.

is it because of lack of user socket messaging (I'm pretty sure I don't have it in my robot and contacting with the agent)? or even there's no this package in R-30ib, the driver should appear anyway?

As mentioned in the documentation, User Socket Messaging is required for the driver to work.

Quote: Note: This mode of operation requires the Fanuc software optionUser Socket MessagingandPC Interface(the Karel option is also required to run PC files). Alternatively, it is also possible to use thePCDKoption (make sure to select the FanucPCDK driver).

Without it, you can still use the post-processor to generate LS and TP files.

With the latest version of the package you should find PC files suitable for versions 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the controller. It is better if you can contact us by email if you have issues with the latest official version of the driver.
