Import motoman files from controller
#1
I want to simulate programs written for a motoman yaskawa robot. Can I import the program files directly from the controller into roboDK? I'm still new to motoman robot systems and the files I got from the controller had a lot of different filetypes namely .JBI .PRM .DAT .CND .BIN and .LST. I'm not sure which ones I need to import to simulate the system.

Importing files from a controller is not an officially supported feature of RoboDK.
It works for certain brands and certain types of files.

Your best bet is to try to import the JBI to an RDK station where you already have the right robot imported. ¨
But I can't guarantee it will work.

Alright. Thank you for the reply. I'll download the trial version and see if I can get it to work.
