Setting robot initial position on curve following project-JeffNickel-07-27-2023 Hello, I have a curve following project involving a simple path and a home position from where I'd like the tool to begin. In the home position axis 4 and 6 are at 0 degrees but when it moves to the first target on the path these axis spin 180 degrees and follow the path. How can I avoid this rotation as the path following does not require much rotation of these axis ( maybe +-10 degrees during movement)? Thanks, Jeff RE: Setting robot initial position on curve following project-Albert-07-31-2023 You should enter the joints you would like to use as the start point inPreferred joints for the start pointfield. You'll see this option towards the bottom. Once you try to update your projer you'll see the available choices to start. If you choose one but it does not take your choice it means that it was not possible to solve the whole path with that choice. In that case it takes the closest solution with the same configuration you chose. |
