We are small producer of 6-DOF colaborative robots looking for robot calibration solution. In RoboDK doc in Accuracy folder, we see lot of possibilities: TwitTool, TwinTrack, LAser, Optical ... What methood is the best for new robot calibration procedure? What data we will get after the calibration process, and where they should be applied? What licence i need for calibration?

For accurate robot kinematics, you will need to perform robot calibration with a laser tracker or optical CMM.

It requires a RoboDK Professional licence, with the Calibration option.

1. So Twin Tool is not for calibration? What it can be used for?
2. How much Calibration option costs?
3. What laser/optical solution is cheap and good enough to have 0,5mm accuracy for 6DOF, 1700mm reach robot?

  1. It helps to calibrate the TCP
  2. for updated costs, it is better to contact us at info@www.sinclairbody.com
  3. A lot of metrology equipment can be pricey. It is better to contact the distributors as the prices may vary from area to area.
