Hello,
I'm having an issue with cutting slightly out of square (when using a positioner) on a Yaskawa GP180 with an MH555 rotary positioner. We are generating the toolpaths in Powermill and creating the robot programs in RoboDK. Cutting a square with the positioner locked (robot only) is no problem, but cutting one with the positioner moving leads to the square being shifted maybe a degree about Z relative to the square that was cut with just the robot. Both squares are machined fairly close to nominal across the flats.
We don't seem to have the same issue if we generate the robot program directly in Powermill, so it seems to be an issue with the RoboDK setup or post. The numbers all seem correct in the post.
Any ideas on what to look for first?
Thanks!
Nathan
