Connecting Robot with Gripper

Hello,

I am having issues connecting the Gripper (RobotiQ2F85) with the Robot (Motoman MA 1800 Base).

I changed the frame support of the gripper so that he has the same as the robot but it seems not to be enough.

Hi Frenchguy,

If you mean connecting the robot and the gripper physically within RoboDK, a simple drag and drop should do the trick.
Drag the reference frame of the gripper and drop it on the robot.

Is there a way to control it (open and close) without using Python Programm?

We have multiple versions of the RobotiQ gripper.

If you take the mechanism version of the gripper you'll be able to use it like a mechanism (with a target and programs to move it).
